Iraqi Parliament to Begin First Reading of Counter-Terrorism Bill

The Iraqi parliament is set to hold its regular session on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, to consider several bills included on its agenda.

According to a statement received by PUKMEDIA from the parliament's Media Directorate, the session will include the first reading of a bill proposing the first amendment to the Notaries Public Law No. 33 of 1998.

The parliament will also conduct the first reading of the Municipal Solid Waste Management Bill and the Counter-Terrorism Bill.
