Darbaz Kosrat Rasul: We Shall Safeguard Mam Jalal and Kak Kosrat’s Legacy Through Unity

Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, a member of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), has described the party’s spirit of courage, resilience, patience and enduring brotherhood as the legacy of President Mam Jalal and Kak Kosrat Rasul, reaffirming that the party leadership would continue forward united.

In a message addressed to PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani, Qubad Talabani, Shalaw Kosrat Rasul and his fellow comrades in the party leadership, he said that the party’s achievements were the fruit of the sacrifices made by its martyrs, the loyalty and honour of its historic leaders, and the longstanding struggle of those who had devoted themselves to the cause.

He added that these achievements were also the result of collective work, principled positions and tireless efforts.

Darbaz Kosrat Rasul concluded by describing this history and legacy as a sacred trust entrusted to them by President Mam Jalal and Kak Kosrat, pledging to protect it through loyalty and unity.

“Just as we made our decision with one voice yesterday, we shall move forward together,” he said.
