Rifaat Abdullah, Vice President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), has issued a congratulatory message marking the 37th anniversary of the founding of the Zhnan-Women’s Union of Kurdistan, praising its role in promoting social progress, justice and equality.

Dear Members of the Zhnan-Women’s Union of Kurdistan,

On the 37th anniversary of the founding of the Zhnan-Women’s Union of Kurdistan, I extend my warmest congratulations to you and all the women of Kurdistan.

I greatly appreciate your prominent role in advancing society and strengthening the foundations of justice and equality. I wish you continued success in your efforts to build a freer, fairer and more progressive society.

Throughout its history, the Zhnan-Women’s Union of Kurdistan has demonstrated that it is a genuine partner in building a civilised society. On this occasion, we pay tribute to the dedication, hard work and sacrifices of women and the Union.
