Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, extended congratulations to Muslims in Kurdistan and around the world on the occasion of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

"On the occasion of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), I extend my warmest congratulations to Muslims in Kurdistan and around the world," Talabani said in a post on social media.

"Commemorating this occasion, which forms an important part of our people’s culture and traditions, encourages us to strengthen the spirit of unity and mutual respect and to further promote peaceful coexistence among all communities," he added.
