PUK Official Receives German Military Delegation in Kurdistan Region

PUK Politburo Member Saadi Ahmed Pire among the German military officers.

Saadi Ahmed Pire, a member of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received a delegation of German forces in the Kurdistan Region, comprising a number of officers and military personnel.

According to a statement from Pire's office, Pire highlighted the longstanding relations between the Kurdish people and Germany, noting that the German people and government had consistently supported the Kurds at various stages.

He particularly praised Germany’s role in recent years in the fight against terrorism, including through military and humanitarian assistance and the deployment of special forces to train Peshmerga forces.

Pire expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the people and government of Germany for their continued support of the Kurdish people.
